Hello All!
Now that the Phase 1 of getting online meetings up and running is complete, we’d like to formally give any Homegroups/Meetings the opportunity to have their own:
WebEx accountWebEx information listed on the new online meetings page
Much like what Des Moines did on their page (shout out to Chris S). Then, you will be able to host your own meeting, and be in charge of it completely. We would just add it to the calendar below for other members to easily access. So, please reach out to your homegroups/meetings and see what everyone would like to do and then one person from each group will fill out the Google Form linked below. Please read through the new form before your group discussion to be able to answer all of the applicable questions. The steps we took to create an Ames AA Online WebEx account was:
Create a basic gmail account (for example: amesaaonline@gmail.com)Use that email address to create a WebEx account (don’t forget to save the email address and password!)WebEx will approve the account (can take 72 hours)
Once you are able to gain access into your WebEx account you will fill out this new Google Form, to tell us what your webex:
Meeting Number isThe link to get into your “meeting room”
The phone number to be able to call in to the meeting

course there are no wrong answers to the question of whether you would
like your own WebEx account or not and we’re sure a meeting will be
happening at the day and time the meeting/homegroup meets no matter what
but we’d like to extend the offer to the existing homegroups so that
people can continue to be of service to their groups and possibly see
the same people we are used to seeing at our homegroups!
Here is what the schedule looks like currently. The existing groups/meetings would get the “coming soon” slots, if they wanted.

So, figuring this piece out is Phase 2. Phase 3 is adding in any one-off meetings that might like to form, for example: Saturday at 4pm.
